Answer: All of the above.

Explanation:

The liver is simply the largest solid organ in the body and it can be found below the rib cage in the upper abdomen by the right. It's function is to maintain the blood sugar, regulate blood clotting and remove toxins from the blood.

It should be noted that the liver develops as a ventral outgrowth of the embryonic foregut. It also helps in the incorporation of both the endodermal and the mesodermal components. Furthermore, it's developed in the ventral mesentery and is connected to the stomach by the lesser omentum.

Therefore, all of the above options are correct.

A clay plate has a volume of 30.0cubic centimeters and a mass of 59.1grams. Calculate its density.
Nataly_w [17]

The density of the clay plate is  1970 kg m⁻³

the problem we are dealing with is related to density, which is the mass of a unit volume of a material substance. The formula for calculating density is d = M/V, where d is density, M is mass, and V is volume. Since we are provided with the volume of the clay plate which is 30.0cubic centimeters and the mass of the plate which is 59.1grams

so,V= 30 cm⁻³=3x 10-5 m and  M=  59.1grams= 0.0591 kg

Therefore, the density of the plate is:  M/V

=>d = 1970 kg m⁻³

What function do receptor proteins and structural proteins have in nerve cells?
Dovator [93]

A receptor refers to a protein molecule, which attains chemical signals from external of a cell. The receptor proteins are categorized by their location. On the other hand, the structural proteins refer to the fibrous proteins. One of the essential activity of the structural protein is to maintain the configuration of the cell.

In the nerve cells, the receptor proteins pick up signals of pain and structural proteins helps in maintaining the shape and configuration of the nerve cell.

2. What were the earliest organisms to evolve?<br>
zavuch27 [327]

Answer:

Both bacteria and blue algae are prokaryote organisms, meaning that they do not have a differentiated nucleus, and therefore they are more primitive. But blue algae are able to perform photosynthesis and so we can believe that the first forms of life on Earth date even further back than 3 and a half billion years ago.
