Answer:

The correct answer will be option-B

Explanation:

In an experiment, the variable which is kept constant throughout the experiment is known as the constant variable. The constant variable does not change and controls the fate of the experiment as changing the constant variable can cause an error in the results.

In the given question, the study was performed to test the effect of color on plant growth by using different colors of light in which the amount of light must be kept constant as the growth of the plant is influenced by the amount of light also.

Thus, Option-B is the correct answer.

If a laser light is compose of photons each with an energy of 4.58 × 10−19 J, what is the photon energy of this light in units o
kap26 [50]

Answer : The photon energy of this light in units of nanometers, (nm) is, 4.34\times 10^{-2}nm

Solution :

Formula used :

E=\frac{h\times c}{\lambda}

where,

E = energy of photon = 4.58\times 10^{-19}J

h = Planck's constant = 6.626\times 10^{-34}Js

c = speed of light = 3\times 10^8m/s

\lambda = wavelength = ?

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get:

4.58\times 10^{-19}J=\frac{(6.626\times 10^{-34}Js)\times (3\times 10^8m/s)}{\lambda}

\lambda=4.3017\times 10^{-7}m=434.017\times 10^{-9}m=434.017nm=4.34\times 10^{-2}nm

conversion used : (1nm=1\times 10^{-9}m)

Therefore, the photon energy of this light in units of nanometers, (nm) is, 4.34\times 10^{-2}nm

What is the basic difference between series and parallel circuits?
strojnjashka [21]
In a series circuit, the current through each of the components is the same, and the voltage across the circuit is the sum of the voltages across each component. In a parallel circuit, the voltage across each of the components is the same, and the total current is the sum of the currents through each component.

62 grams of Zn(C2H3O2)4 are dissolved to make a 1.5 M solution. How many milliliters of water are needed?
LenKa [72]
Molarmass of <span>Zn(C2H3O2)4 is 301.5561 g/mol

moles of </span>
<span>Zn(C2H3O2)4
= 62 g * 1 mol/(</span><span>301.5561 g) = 0.2056 mol

concentration = moles / volume
concentration * volume = moles
volume = moles / concentration
volume = 0.2056 mol / 1.5 M
volume = 0.13706 L
volume = 137 mL
volume = 140 mL
