Because the only way (back then) to process and make sugar farms was through manual labor. Since the Americans didn't want to put effort onto their own sugar farms, Africans were forced to do the labor part for them.

SUMMARIZING
Alika [10]

Answer:

Ther Great Compromise was an agreement reached between the representatives of states with small populations and their counterparts from states with large populations at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. It defined the structure of Congress. It was agreed that there would be a bicameral Congress, with one lower chamber (the House of Representatives) with proportional representation, and an upper chamber (the Senate) with two senators by each state. The agreement was brokered by Connecticut representative Roger Sherman, that´s why it is also called the Sherman Compromise.

What is the name given to the office of the Ottoman ruler
Leni [432]

Answer:

The title sultan originally meaning "authority" or "dominion", used in an ungendered manner to encompass the whole imperial family, men, and women, reflected the Ottoman conception of sovereign power as a "family prerogative".

I couldn't be sure so I took a source from Google.

Good luck, hope this helped!
