You have been engaged to review the financial statements of Whispering Corporation. In the course of your examination, you concl

ude that the bookkeeper hired during the current year is not doing a good job. You notice a number of irregularities as follows:
1. Year-end wages payable of $3,520 were not recorded because the bookkeeper thought that "they were immaterial."
2. Accrued vacation pay for the year of $34,000 was not recorded because the bookkeeper "never heard that you had to do it."
3. Insurance for a 12-month period purchased on November 1 of this year was charged to insurance expense in the amount of $2,568 because "the amount of the check is about the same every year."
4. Reported sales revenue for the year is $2,213,280. This includes all sales taxes collected for the year. The sales tax rate is 6%. Because the sales tax is forwarded to the state’s Department of Revenue, the Sales Tax Expense account is debited. The bookkeeper thought that "the sales tax is a selling expense." At the end of the current year, the balance in the Sales Tax Expense account is $108,580.

An import quota
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "A": is a supply restriction limiting the quantity of a good that can be imported.

Explanation:

A quota for imports applies to set limits on the number of goods that can be imported into a country over time. Countries are using quotas to shield domestic companies. This limits the supply of those goods by imposing a top on foreign goods being imported, which keeps prices high so that domestic companies can still sell their goods at a fair price.

DedPeter [7]

Answer:

Scenario planning approach

Explanation:

Scenario planning is a method used by organizations or businesses to make long term projections. It is also used when making strategic plans for the progress of the organization.

In scenario planning, assumptions about the future of an organization or business are made. These assumptions are aimed at discovering the possibility of that business to thrive under different economic and environmental conditions, and how the business can adapt to cope well with these changes.

For example, farmers use different assumptions or scenarios based on the weather to foretell how the harvest season will be. This guides them on whether to or not to make future investments and helps them to estimate what their sales could be.
