The main way in which southern blacks lost rights in the years after the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth amendments was that "<span>c. Some white southerners used state legislation, segregation, and violence to limit the freedoms of blacks," in the years after the Civil War. </span>
The South won every major Civil War battle until "<span>a. the Battle of Antietam," since this took place on Union soil for the first time during the War--giving the Union a "home town" advantage. </span>
The event which started the Gulf War in 1991 was a) the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq. There were the largest amount of coalition forces during this war since World War II, with most of them being from the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Egypt fighting for Iraq to immediately stop it's invasion and annexation of Kuwait.
