Egyptians has a very complex religion. The Egyptians believed in deities, myths, or gods that they believed had the control over nature and the things on earth. They had four main religions, those being Memphis, Theban, Heliopolis, and Hermopolis Theology. The Ancient Egyptian religions really shaped their lifestyles because they believed that if they put a lot of effort in practicing the religion, the gods will gain respect from them, and would favor them for practicing the religion.
