Answer:

Predators eat prey, technically speaking.

Explanation:

The lowest and largest group takes the most energy cause it's first base. Going up the chain, the second group takes that energy from the first. Then the third, takes the energy from the second and so on. It's a cycle, and the the smallest group at the top of the energy pyramid will be given the less energy that travels throughout the pyramid.

I hope this makes sense.

The introduction of the Asian Clam in Lake George is an example of an Invasive Species.

Asian Clam are small in size, hardly 1.5 inches long. However, they can reproduce very quickly without the need for a partner. A single clam can give birth to hundreds of offspring in a single day without a mate.

Asian Clam is extremely unpleasant for most fresh water bodies since it excretes nutrients such as nitrogen.

This helps in the development of algae and gives off a foul stink.

Cervix

Janine recently had surgery on the neck, or narrow lower portion, of her uterus. Janine's surgery was performed on the cervix.

The cervix is the narrow neck-like passage that forms the lower portion of the uterus in the human female reproductive system. The cervix joins the vagina and uterus and it is mainly made up of fibromuscular tissue. The two major parts of the cervix are ectocervix and endocervix. During menstrual cycle, the cervix opens a bit to allow the passage of menstrual flow. The cervix also dilates largely to allow the passage of baby during childbirth.
