Josh wants to put a fence around his rectangular garden. The garden is 6 feet bt 15 feet. How much fencing must he purshase ?

6 0

Since the garden is a rectangle, there are 2 sides that are 6-ft long
and two sides that are 15-ft long.

So he needs  (2 x 6) + (2 x 15) = (12) + (30) = 42-ft of fence.  Minimum.

Answer: Shown below

Step-by-step explanation:

Bisects mean split in half, so this shape has a symmetrical line in the form of RT. Using that, we find:
RU = RS = 8

ST = UT = 23

SV = VU = 5

What is the solution to the system of equations below?
Karolina [17]

Answer:

The solution is the point (18,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y=-\frac{1}{3}x+6 -----> equation A

y=\frac{1}{3}x-6 -----> equation B

Solve the system by substitution

substitute equation B in equation A

\frac{1}{3}x-6=-\frac{1}{3}x+6

solve for x

Adds (1/3)x both sides

\frac{1}{3}x-6+\frac{1}{3}x=6

\frac{2}{3}x-6=6

Adds 6 both sides

\frac{2}{3}x=6+6

\frac{2}{3}x=12

x=12(3)/2\\x=18

<em>Find the value of y</em>

substitute the value of x in equation A or equation B

y=-\frac{1}{3}(18)+6=0

therefore

The solution is the point (18,0)

By what number (5/4)^6 should be divided to get (25/16)^8?
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

X=(5/4)^-10

Step-by-step explanation:

(5/4)^6÷x=(25/16)^8

(5/4)^6÷x=(5/4)^16

1/X==(5/4)^16÷(5/4)^6

X=(5/4)^6÷(5/4)^16

X=(5/4)^-10

So the value of X is (5/4)^-10
