It is the top left graph

I can tell because at 0 hours, they started out with 24 plants, which means there should be a point at (0,24). I also know that free every hour, they remove 3 plants, so the line should be going down (as the number of pots keeps on getting lower).

Answer:

1st graph

Step-by-step explanation:

this is the only graph that begins at 24, has a negative slope, is linear, and ends at (8,0) which, after 8 hours losing 3 pots per hour, makes sense

Answer:third graph (open circle on 518, colored to the right)

Step-by-step explanation:The record is 518 cm. That means that 518 cm has already been accomplished. Anything less than 518 cm is not a record. 518 cm is also not a record. Only distances greater than 518 cm are records

Consider the circle of radius 5 centered at (0,0), how do you find an equation of the line tangent to the circle at the point (3
Flauer [41]

\text{We know that the tangent at any point on a circle is perpendicular}\\&#10;\text{to the radius at that point.}\\&#10;\\&#10;\text{so first we find the equation of the line joining (0,0) and (3,4)}\\&#10;\text{and then using the slope, we find the line perperndicular to it at (3,4)}\\&#10;\\&#10;\text{the equation of the line passing through (0,0) and (3,4) is}\\&#10;\\&#10;y-0=\frac{4-0}{3-0}(x-0)

\Rightarrow y=\frac{4}{3}x\\&#10;\\&#10;\text{so the slope of radius is }m=\frac{4}{3}.\\&#10;\\&#10;\text{we know that the product of the perpendicular lines is }-1. \\&#10;\\&#10;\text{so the slope of the perpendicular line would be}=-\frac{1}{4/3}=-\frac{3}{4}\\&#10;\\&#10;\text{So the equation of the tangent line has slope }-\frac{3}{4} \text{ and}\\&#10;\text{passing through (3,4). so equation of tangent line is}

y-4=-\frac{3}{4}(x-3)\\&#10;\\&#10;\Rightarrow y-4=-\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{9}{4}\\&#10;\\&#10;\Rightarrow y=-\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{9}{4}+4\\&#10;\\&#10;\Rightarrow y=-\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{9+16}{4}\\&#10;\\&#10;\text{so the equation of tangent line is:} y=-\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{25}{4}

In a survey of 1,532 former UF students, 84% said they were still in love with Tim Tebow. The survey's sampling error was 2%. Us
nalin [4]

Answer:

confidence interval for the proportion of all former UF students who are still in love with Tim Tebow.

(0.79 , 0.89)

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1:-

Given sample survey former UF students n = 1532

84% said they were still in love with Tim Tebow

p = 0.84

The survey sampling error

                                                 = \sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n} }

Given standard error of proportion = 2% =0.02

<u>Step 2</u>:-

The 99% of z- interval is 2.57

The 99% of confidence intervals are

p ± zₐ S.E     (since sampling error of proportion = \sqrt{\frac{pq}{n} }

(0.84 - 2.57X0.02 , 0.84 + 2.57X0.02)

on simplification , we get

(0.84 - 0.0514 , 0.84 + 0.0514)

(0.79 , 0.89)

<u>conclusion</u>:-

confidence interval for the proportion of all former UF students who are still in love with Tim Tebow.

(0.79 , 0.89)
