A stateless nation could be described as one that has no state of it's own and has a minor population in a country. Examples are Kurdish and Palestinians

The following are some of the challenges faced by stateless people;

- They have no legal protection

- They have no right to vote

- They have difficulty in getting jobs, health care and free education in most countries.

Political autonomy could be described as not being under the control of anyone. Where there is no control from a higher government, it's also known as self governance.

Another group of stateless people are Palestinians.

The experience between the Kurds and the Palestinians is they are both fighting to have the stateless nation gain more freedom in regions they occupy
