8 0
The answer would be 15 4/5. This is because 9 + 6 is 15, and 5/10 + 3/10 is 8/10. We can add these two fractions together because they have the same denominator. So it would be 15 8/10, and 8/10 simplified would be 4/5(because i divided 8 and 10 by the same number until they can't be divided by a whole number anymore). So the answer would be 15 4/5, I hope this helped :)

Principal = $15000
Amount = $16099.44
Rat of interest = r
Time = 2 years
Then
A = P(1 + r)^t
16099.44 = 15000 (1 + r)^2
(1 + r)^2 = 1.073
(1 + r)^2 = (1.036)^2
Then
1 + r = 1.036
r = 1.036 - 1
  = 0.036
  = 0.036/100
  = 3.6%
From the above deduction, it can be easily concluded that the correct option among all the options that are given in the question is the second option.

A quarter is 1/5 of an inch thick and 5 quarters weigh one ounce. Stephanie built a toothpick bridge that could safely hold 3 po
AleksandrR [38]

Answer:

Maximum height of quarter tower = 9.6 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

The thickness of a quarter = \frac{1}{5} inches

Weight of a quarter = 1 ounce

The maximum weight that could safely hold = 3 pounds.

<u>The conversion factor for ounce to pound is 1 ounce = 0.0625 pound</u>

The number of quarter used in the tower = no of ounces equivalent to 3 pounds.

No of ounces equivalent to 3 pounds = \frac{3}{0.0625}

No of ounces equivalent to 3 pounds = 48

So the height of quarter tower = 48 \times \frac{1}{5} inches

                                                   = 9.6 inches.
