Answer: The shop owner does not have a right to sell the guitar to Rachel.

Explanation:

Gary's intention of coming to the shop was for maintenance, that he even agreed to come back in a week time not minding the duration. He had no intention of selling it. Hence selling it will not be right. Selling it will only be right if the shop owner seeks for his consent and he gives the shop owner an order to sell it.
