Answer:

C. Damaged vascular tissue could cause the fruit to not completely develop or even develop at all.

Explanation:

If the vascular tissues such as xylem and phloem are damaged, the fruit does not completely develop because the food that is produced in the leaves does not reach to the seed. The xylem helps in the transportation of water from the soil that is necessary for making of food during the process of photosynthesis so damaged xylem will not produced food and no food will be transported from leaves to seeds and if some food is produced by the leaves the phloem does not transport it to the seeds.

noname [10]

The correct descriptions of each of the organisms are as follows:

Archaea:

 • cells do not have a nucleus
 • cells contain genetic material
 • most inhabit extreme environments.
 • prokaryotes

Bacteria

 • cells do not have a nucleus
 • prokaryotes
 • E. coli

Eukarya

 • eukaryotes
 • cells have a nucleus
 • many are multicellular
 • cells have membrane-bound organelles
 • plants

Archaea and Bacteria

 • cells do not have a nucleus
 • cells contain genetic material
 • prokaryotes

All three domains

 • cells contain genetic material

What are living organisms?

Living organisms are those things that have life in them.

Living organisms are classified into the following domains:

 • archaea,
 • bacteria, and
 • eukarya

A common feature of all three domains is that they all have genetic material.

In conclusion, living things are classified into three domains.

Angelina is learning how to build circuits. She starts by connecting a light bulb to a battery with copper wires. In her studies
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

B. Voltage is when current flows from higher to lower potential energy.

Explanation:

Voltage refers to the difference in electric potential between two points. Current in the wire always flow from higher potential to lower potential due to voltage. At the electric source, voltage of current is high but when it moves through wire, the amount of current decreases when it reaches to the other end of the circuit. This is because of the resistance present inside the wire which causes heat energy and some of the current is lost.

5. When is extinction of a species most likely to occur?
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

Extinction occurs when species are diminished because of environmental forces (habitat fragmentation, global change, natural disaster, overexploitation of species for human use) or because of evolutionary changes in their members (genetic inbreeding, poor reproduction, decline in population numbers).

How do the DNA and genes in a muscle cell compare to the DNA and genes in a nerve cell?
LUCKY_DIMON [66]
C.

Cells all contain copies of the same DNA. However, cells 'turn on', or activate, certain genes to specialize the cell.
