Do you need examples or?

Elements can’t be broken down it’s already the most simplest substance ( eg.oxygen, carbon )- basically your whole periodic table

Compunds can be broken down into elements (eg. carbon dioxide and iron oxide)

Mixtures are just 2 or more compunds chilling with each other and can be broken down (eg. salt and water)

Identify the gas law that applies to the following scenario: A 36.5 liter balloon holding 2.9 moles of carbon dioxide leaks. If
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

Avogadro's Law

Explanation:

The amount of moles is directly proportional to the volume of the gas under constant temperature and pressure. That is the statement of Avogadro's law. The equation is:

V1n2 = V2n1

Where V is volume and n are moles of 1, initial state and 2, final state of the gas

That means, right option is:

Avogadro's Law

What is the difference between the spectrum of hydrogen and the spectrum of sunlight
g100num [7]

Answer:

The hydrogen spectrum is an important piece of evidence to show the quantized electronic structure of an atom. ... It results in the emission of electromagnetic radiation initiated by the energetically excited hydrogen atoms. The hydrogen emission spectrum comprises radiation of discrete frequencies.

The spectrum starts with red light, with a wavelength of 700 nanometers (7,000 angstroms), at the top. ... It spans the range of visible light colours, including orange and yellow and green, and ends at the bottom with blue and violet colours with a wavelength of 400 nm (4,000 angstroms).

Explanation:

Hydrogen molecules are first broken up into hydrogen atoms (hence the atomic hydrogen emission spectrum) and electrons are then promoted into higher energy levels. Suppose a particular electron is excited into the third energy level. It would tend to lose energy again by falling back down to a lower level.

The spectrum of the Sun appears as a continuous spectrum and is frequently represented as shown below. This type of spectrum is called an emission spectrum because what you are seeing is the direct radiation emitted by the source.

The image is a model of sulfuric acid that has a chemical formula of H2SO4. In 1-2 sentences, explain why creating models, like
zepelin [54]

Models of atoms and compounds help in understanding of concepts of reactions in chemistry.

What are models?

Models are objects used to provide a visual representation of certain things or structures.

Models are widely employed in chemistry because of their usefulness in strengthening understanding of concepts.

The importance of models in chemistry include:

 • they help students to be able to visualize the structures of atoms and compounds in a macroscopic scale
 • they provide an a clearer understand of how atoms combine to form products in reactions.

Therefore, models help in understanding of concepts of reactions in chemistry.

Which solution has the lowest freezing point?
elena55 [62]
The solution of Ba(OH)2 will have the lowest freezing point. This is because it dissociates into 3 ions, one Ba and 2 OH, which is more than any of the others. Freezing point depression is a colligitive property of water that depends, in part, on the number of ions.

A filament at which temperature would have the most light absorbed by a piece of yellow glass?
stepladder [879]
Soft light (answer) is the filament between (2700k-3000k).
The higher the kelvin number the whiter the light.

3500k-4100k is bright white/cool white

5000k-6500k is daylight
