The machine can make 48 parts in 24.8 hours because if you times 4.8 times 5 you will get 24 but you need 24.8 so you would have to go up one more number which will be 6. After that you will need to times 6 and 8 to get the numbers of parts which is 48 but you can also count up 2 because 1 hr the machine can make 2 parts.
