Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the shape is made up of 2 circles and one box add the 3 areas up

circle area = \pir^{2}

3.14*4^{2} = 50.24

50.24*2 =100.48

box, box,  pit now  :P  ooh I was thinking formula one racing,  ( i've been watching that lately)  anyway

box = 8*8 = 64

total = 164.48  is that an option? hmm, yes the bottom two choices.. now the perimeter .  the perimeter is made up of the 2 circles

the circumference of a circle is 2\pir

2*\pi*r

2*\pi*4 =25.1327    that's one whole circle , multiplied by 2 , I can see , by math in my head that's about 50.26

sooo

the 3rd choice looks good  :)

Find the value of the csc 40° using your calculator. (I've been having a hard time with this, so it'd be helpful if anyone could
SCORPION-xisa [38]
<span><u><em>The correct answer is: </em></u>
C 1.556.

<u><em>Explanation:</em></u>
This can be found by locating the csc button on your calculator. Typically it is located as the second option below the sin button as it is the inverse function.
If you cannot locate the csc button on your calculator, you can also use </span>\frac{1}{sin(40)}<span> as csc is its inverse.

Also, it is helpful to note that some calculators have both a degrees and a radians mode for trigonometric functions. You will need to make sure that you are in degrees in order to use a calculator to solve this. </span>

What tests are used to determine the radius of convergence of a power series? A. Divergence TestB. Root Test C. Comparison Test
REY [17]

Answer:

The radius of convergence is half of the length of the interval of convergence. If the radius of convergence is R then the interval of convergence will include the open interval: (a − R, a + R). To find the radius of convergence, R, you use the Ratio Test.

Total profit P is the difference between total revenue R and total cost C. Given the following total-revenue and total-cost fu
gavmur [86]

Answer:

The profit function is:

P(x)=-x^2+1280x-3300

The maximum value is 406, 300 occurring when x = 640.

Step-by-step explanation:

The revenue function is:

R(x)=1300x-x^2

And the cost function is:

C(x)=3300+20x

Then the total profit function will be:

P(x)=R(x)-C(x)=(1300x-x^2)-(3300+20x)=-x^2+1280x-3300

This is a quadratic function.

Therefore, the maximum value of the total profit will occur at its vertex point.

The vertex of a quadratic is given by:

\displaystyle \Big(-\frac{b}{2a}, f\Big(-\frac{b}{2a}\Big)\Big)

In this case, a = -1, b = 1280, and c = -3300.

Then the point at which the maximum profit occurs is at:

\displaystyle x=-\frac{1280}{2(-1)}=640

And the maximum profit will be:

P(640)=-(640)^2+1280(640)-3300=406300
