<h2>Hey There!</h2><h2>_____________________________________</h2><h2>Answer:</h2><h2>_____________________________________</h2><h2>\Large\textbf{Organ System}</h2>

Several organs that collectively perform a single function form an organ system.

<h2>_____________________________________</h2><h2>\huge\textbf{Levels of Biological Organization}</h2>

  1. Cell - The smallest unit of life. Example: Red Blood Cell
  2. Tissue - A group of similar cells that perform a specific function. Example: Muscle Tissue
  3. Organ - A structure within an organism usually composed of several tissue types that form a functional unit. Example: Stomach
  4. Organ System - Two or more organs working together in the execution of a specific bodily function. Example: Respiratory System
  5. Multicellular Organism - An individual living thing. Example: A single H.o.m.o Sapiens(Human Being).
  6. Specie - Very similar, potentially interbreeding organism. Example: All cats, dogs, humans.
  7. Population - Members of one species inhabiting the same area. Example: Population of people living in USA
  8. Community - Two or more populations of different species living and interacting in the same area. Example: Cats and Hooomans living together in the same area or house.
  9. Ecosystem - A community together with its non-living surroundings. Example: Pond Ecosystem
  10. Biosphere - Different Ecosystems altogether makes Biosphere. Example: Planet Earth is biosphere

I have attached the picture also.

\huge\textbf{Examples of Organ System}

\Large\textbf{Animal:}

There are different Organ or Body Systems working together in animals making it most advanced type of living being on the planet.

Body Systems:

The human body is made of different body systems which help it to perform different processes and manage them. Body systems is made of different Body organs. Two of many organ system are listed below

  • Digestive System:

It is also called Gastrointestinal(GI) System. The GI system starts from mouth and ends at anus. All the organs between and including the mouth and anus comes under GI system.

The GI system intakes food and breaks it down into small and diffusable nutrients and excretes the solid waste products. One of the most important purposes of food is to serve as cellular fuel. Also, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats can all be used by our cells as sources of the energy that they need to stay alive.

  • Cardiovascular System

Cardiovascular system provides a transit way for the Products. It includes heart, Veins, Arteries, Capillaries.

It moves blood, hormones, nutrients etc. The main function of the cardiovascular system is therefore to maintain blood flow to all parts of the body, to allow it to survive. Veins deliver used blood from the body back to the heart.

<h2>----------------------------------------------------------------------</h2>

\Large\textbf{Plants:}

A plant has two organ systems

  • The Shoot System - The shoot system is above ground and includes the organs such as leaves, buds, stems, flowers and fruits
  • The Root System - The root system supports the plants and absorbs water and minerals, is usually underground.

Answer:

Hey! an organ system is cells all grouped together that have the same function.

Explanation:

In animals, organ systems are all of organs put together. Like the digestive system, muscular system, and nervous system.

In plants, its normally how the cells work together. Like cytoplasm and cell walls.

One option is that the samples run through gel electrophoresis is too small to be recognized (shorter strands of DNA travel further through the gel and larger strands travel shorter). The other option in that the restriction enzyme did not cut the DNA in the proper spot or there was a mutation in the bases that allowed for a mistake in the cutting; that is why there are 800 base pairs in one sample (that's a lot) An example of a mutation is that lets say the restriction enzyme was supposed to cut at the second G in GGACC. But if that G was turned into an A, then the restriction enzyme wouldn't cut there.

For number 5, you might have 800 because of the restriction enzyme cutting it wrong, a mutation that allowed for the cutting to not take place, or a fault in the sample taking.

I am an AP Biology student right now in Wisconsin. I just finished that worksheet this morning :) anymore questions just hit me up

How much energy is produced by each type of macromolecule
german
<span>The amount of energy you'll get from carbohydrate, protein and fat is measured in calories per gram. Fats have the most energy and proteins have the same amount as carbohydrates, but their value as a source of energy is determined by more than the calories gained from one gram. Other factors, such as your activity level and diet, impact which macronutrient is used for energy.</span>
