Read the sentence. Since its establishment in 1961, the Peace Corps has helped countless people build better lives for themselve
GREYUIT [131]
Assuming the italicized clause is Since its establishment, the correct answer here is elliptical clause.
Elliptical means that a word which would normally be part of a sentence is excluded, usually for stylistic reasons. Here, the verb is missing, which is why it is elliptical. The question is oddly formulated too - given that there is no verb here, it cannot be a clause, but rather a phrase, but since there is no such option here, then the correct answer is elliptical clause.

When we read about prehistoric people, most of it is about cave men. There isn’t much about cave women. Most of us think of preh
nalin [4]
The main idea of the paragraph is that women should be credited for much more during the prehistoric times that they are at the moment. We only get the picture of them being rather irrelevant at the time which is obviously not true, based on this excerpt. The paragraph is quite feminist, meaning that it is shedding light on actual history and the role of women in such a society which not much is spoken about in contemporary analyses.
They were the ones who invented gardening, as well as pottery and weaving. The reason why they did this was because they often stayed 'at home' taking care of children, so they had time to do other things as well, while men were out hunting and providing for the family in other ways. Thus we have solid proof that women were far more creative and responsible for various things than they are credited for now.

Describe how Nancy Lee's relationship with other people at her school helps her shape her changing attitude towards race and rac
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

Even in the not-officially-segregated North, there was often a wide gulf between the color-blindness of the American dream and the racial discrimination in daily life, which, early in their lives, crushed the aspirations and dashed the hopes of promising young black Americans. In this story (published in 1941), celebrated poet, novelist, and playwright Langston Hughes (1902–67) describes such an incident in the life of a talented and proud American high school student, Nancy Lee Johnso
