Answer:

picks up O2 and releases CO2

Explanation:

The pulmonary artery represents a structure within pulmonary circulation that is responsible for carrying deoxygenated blood to the lung.

When blood from the pulmonary artery reaches the long, it becomes oxygenated an in return, the CO2 it carries is released into the lung in a process otherwise known as gaseous exchange.

The pH scale for acids and bases ranges from _____.
Elza [17]
The pH scale for acids and bases ranges from 1 - 14. The answer is letter C. The rest of the choices do not answered the question above. There are quite a few relationships between [H+] and [OH−] ions. And because there is a large range of number between 10 to 10-15 M, the pH is used. pH = -log[H+] and pOH = -log[OH−]. In aqueous solutions, [H+ ][OH- ] = 10-14. From here we can derive the values of each concentration.

-log[H+ ] + -log[OH- ] = -log[10-14]

pH + pOH = 14

So pH = 14 – pOH and pOH = 14 – pH

Draw one of the isomeric c5h12o alcohols that can be prepared by lithium aluminum hydride reduction of a ketone.
shtirl [24]
Hello!

The Lithium Aluminum hydride (LiAlH₄) reduction of a ketone is a process in which the ketone is reduced and the Lithium Aluminum hydride is oxidized. The general chemical reaction for this kind of reduction is:

              1)LiAlH₄
R(C=O)R ---------→R(C-OH)R
              2)H₃O⁺

The structure for one of the isomeric C₅H₁₂O alcohols that can be prepared by lithium aluminum hydride reduction of a ketone is shown in the attached image, the compound is called 3-Pentanol:
