Which combination of quarks can NOT exist?

Physics

Over [174]3 years ago

Answer:

So you can have quark anti-quark pairs (charge anti-charge), or add the charges together (red+blue+green = white). This also holds for theorectical particles made of 4 quarks (2 quarks 2 anti-quarks) and 5 quarks (four quarks and 1 anti-quark or the reverse). In your example ud only has two quarks so only two colour charges so cannot exist. If you want a more indepth answer start reading about colour charge.

Determine the value of the force exerted by the surface (normal force) on a
Advocard [28]

Answer:

53.5 N

Explanation:

Vertical component of the F force   50 sin30    = 25 N  upward

   force of gravity = m g = 8 * 9.81 =78.5 N Downward

NET downward force by block on table = net upward force exerted by table = 78.5 -25 =53.5 N

Electric field lines moves away from positive to wards negative?
Archy [21]

The vector force on the unit positive charge placed at any location in the field defines the strength of the electric field at that point. The charge used to determine field intensity (field strength) is known as the test charge. Now, a field line is defined as a line to which the previously mentioned field strength vectors are tangents at the relevant places. When we study positive charge field lines, the field strength vectors point away from the positive charge. If there is a negative charge anywhere in the vicinity, the field lines that began from the positive charge will all terminate at the negative charge if the value of the negative charge is the same as the value of the positive charge. Remember that the number of field lines originating from positive charge is proportional to the charge's value, and similarly, the number of field lines terminating at negative charge is proportionate to the charge's value. As a result, if all charges are equivalent, all lines originating from the positive charge terminate at the negative charge. If the value of the positive charge is greater than the value of the negative charge, the number of lines ending at the negative charge will be proportionally less than the number of lines beginning at the positive charge. The remaining lines that do not end at the negative charge will go to infinity. If the positive charge is less, all lines from it terminate at a negative charge, and any other reasonable number of ines terminate at a negative charge from infinity. We should also keep in mind that the number of lines that run perpendicular to the field direction across a surface of unit area is proportional to the field strength at that location. As a result, lines are dense in the strong field zone and sparse in the low intensity region.

A series-parallel circuit consists of two parallel circuits connected in series across a 45-V source. One parallel branch consis
musickatia [10]

Answer:

The answer to the question is

The current  through R4 = 0.5865 mA

Explanation:

To solve this we list out the known thus

Voltage source = 45-V

Firsrt parallel circiuit has resistances of R1 = 17 kΩ and R2 = 23 kΩ

Second parallel circiuit has resistances of R3 = 45 kΩ and R4 = 55 kΩ

we first find the current flowing in the circuit by finding thr sum of the total resistance in eah parallel circuit

Firsrt parallel circiuit, for circuit in parallel, sum of resistance 1/RT1 = 1/ R1 + 1/R2 = 1/17+1/23 =  0.1023017 therefore RT1 = 1/0.1023017 = 9.775 kΩ

Similarly we have for the second parallel circuit 1/RT2 = 1/R3 + 1/R4

= 1/45 + 1/55 =  0.0404 Hence RT2 = 1/0.0404 = 24.75 kΩ

This means that the 9.775 kΩ and the 24.75 kΩ are in series hence total resistance of the circuit = sum of all resistances in series

= 9.775 kΩ + 24.75 kΩ = 34.525 kΩ

However current, I is given by V/R = 45-V/34.525 kΩ = 1.303 × 10⁻³ A or 1.303 mA

From the current divider rule, I4 = I × (R4/(R3+R4)

That is the currrent flowing throuhgh R4 = 1.303  × (45/(45+55)) = 0.5865 mA

A ball is dropped , find the velocity after 100 m
Marat540 [252]

Answer:

Vf = 44.27 m/s

Explanation:

When a ball is dropped it is acted upon by gravitational force under free fall motion. So, in order to find its final speed we use 2rd equation of motion, as follows:

2gh = Vf² - Vi²

where,

g = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

h = height lost = 100 m

Vf = Final Velocity = ?

Vi = Initial velocity = 0 m/s (Since, ball starts from rest)

Therefore,

(2)(9.8 m/s²)(100 m) = Vf² - (0 m/s)²

Vf = √(1960 m²/s²)

Vf = 44.27 m/s

frosja888 [35]

22N to the right and 13N to the left

Forces are in opposite directions so you subtract the bigger force from the smaller force

Magnitude of force= 22N -13N

= 9N

net force direction is to the right
