A car drove for 20 minutes at a speed of 52 how far did it travel
laiz [17]

Answer:

Oerhaps 17.3333 miles, see assumption below

Step-by-step explanation:

There are no units for 52.  52 m/sec?  52 feet/min?, 52 mph?

Once we have the units for the 52, convert the 20 minutes to the same unit as in the speed unit, hours in this case.  I'll assume miles/hour for the speed here.  So convert 20 minutes into hours:  (1 hr/60min)*(20 minutes) = (1/3) hour.

Now multiply by the 52 mph:

(52 miles/hr)*(1/3 hour) = (52/3) miles or 17.33 miles

PLEASE HELP ME THIS PAPER IS WORTH A LOT OF POINTS AND TONIGHT’S THE LAST NIGHT TO TURN THINGS IN AND I NEED TO RN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ratling [72]
In your shoes I'd be doing all I could to solve these problems myself.  What would happen if no one helped you with these?

We are told that the base of the ladder is 3 ft from the building foundation.  Thus,

                      opp side     3 ft
sin 49 deg = ------------ = --------
                        hyp           hyp

then hyp = (3 ft) / (sin 49 deg) = (3 ft) / (0.755) = 3.98 feet   Rounding this off, we get (ladder length) = 4.0 ft.  (ans).

Now that we know the length of the hyp (length of the ladder), we can find
the height of the top of the ladder off the ground using the cosine function:

(3.98 ft)(cos 49 ) = height = (3.98 ft)(0.656) = 2.6 ft
