To find this answer, you must first figure out how any pencils you are going to need.
so to find that you must multiply the number of children by the number of pencils each person will use. So 28 x 4 = 112
So then you have to figure out how many packages that you will need.
so to do that you divide the number of pencils by the number of pencils in one package.
so 112 / 8 = 14
The answer is 14 packages.
I hope this helps!

7. The graph of part of linear function g is shown on the grid. Which inequality best represents the domain of the part shown?
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

a

Step-by-step explanation:

Domain means the change in x.

so the domain will be which values of x the fn goes through.

you can see the black line goes from -9 to 2 in x values.

the -9 isn't filled in, but the 2 is. filled in means it will be with an equals instead of without.

so x is between -9 and 2, 2 is with equals -9 is without,

so the first one.

After 3 minutes, a submarine had descended to −320 feet. After 8 minutes, the submarine had descended to −420 feet. Assuming a l
LiRa [457]

Answer:

d(t) = -20t - 260

Step-by-step explanation:

The depth function is:

d(t) = mt + b

After 3 minutes, a submarine had descended to −320 feet.

This means that d(3) = -320. So

d(t) = mt + b

-320 = 3m + b

After 8 minutes, the submarine had descended to −420 feet.

This means that d(8) = -420. So

d(t) = mt + b

-420 = 8m + b

From the first equation:

b = -320 - 3m

So

-420 = 8m + b

-420 = 8m - 320 - 3m

5m = -100

m = \frac{-100}{5}

m = -20

And

b = -320 - 3*(-20) = -260

So

d(t) = -20t - 260
