Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

What exactly is your difficulty can you be more specific perhaps?

If I give give you a formulae e.g. N= P¥s/ yR^2 and I don't say what each letter or symbol represents then its meaningless but if I state S = d/t and say that S = speed of an object and that equates to d (distance) divided by t (time) then hopefully you will know and be able to relate to the overall formulae

In my earlier study years I had to learn complex electrical and mechanical formulae e.g. Xl = 2pi f L ( Electrical Inductive Reactance) and its all about finding a strategy that works for you.

You have to get familiar with formulae and thats by practice, the more you use them the more you tend to remember them

Answer:

x > 10/3

x will always be greater that 10/3 never the same nor less.

Step-by-step explanation:

3/5x + 1/3 < 4/5x - 1/3

3/5x - 4/5x + 1/3 < -1/3

-1/5x + 1/3 < -1/3

-1/5x < -1/3 - 1/3

-1/5x < -2/3

-1/5x/-1 < -2/3/-1   (Since it is both divided by a negative the sign switches, the sign also switches with multiplication. *Note: it only switches if it is negative!*)

1/5x > 2/3

5 • 1/5x > 2/3 • 5

x > 2/3 • 5/1

x > 10/3

Answer: -4x-34y-32

(I think this is right but I am not completely sure... if its not I am sorry :/ )

Step-by-step explanation:

First Way:

48 (1/4x - 1/3y - 2/6x - 3/8y - 2/3)

48[(6/24x-8/24x)-(8/24y+9/24y)-2/3]

48(-2/24x-17/24y-2/3)

48(-1/12x-17/24y-2/3)

-4x-34y-32

Second Way:

48 (1/4x - 1/3y - 2/6x - 3/8y - 2/3)

12x-16y-16x-18y-32

-4x-34y-32

Jay ate 2/3 of a pizza. Dan ate 4 times the amount of jay ate . How much did dan eat
erica [24]

Answer:

Dan eat 2\frac{2}{3} pizzas

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x-----> amount of pizza Jay ate

y-----> amount of pizza Dan ate

we know that

x=\frac{2}{3} ----> equation A

y=4x -----> equation B

substitute equation A in the equation B and solve for y

y=4(\frac{2}{3})=\frac{8}{3}

Convert to mixed number

\frac{8}{3}=\frac{6}{3}+\frac{2}{3}=2\frac{2}{3}
