16 + 19 + 2(1.50) + 2(3.75) = 45.50....now this is before tax

there is a tip of 15%.....0.15(45.50) = 6.825 rounds to 6.83....tip

there is a 6% sales tax......45.50 * 1.06 = 48.23

so in total, meal + tax + tip = 48.23 + 6.83 = 55.06 <===
