Vertices of rectangular pool are A(3,2),B(7,8),C (4,10), and D (0,4).

AB=\sqrt{(7-3)^{2}+(8-2)^{2}}= \sqrt{16+36}=\sqrt{52} yard=CD

BC=\sqrt{(7-4)^{2}+(8-10)^{2}}=\sqrt{9+4}=\sqrt{13} yard=DA

Area of rectangular pool=Length × Breadth

                                         =√52 ×√13=13×2=26 square yard

Vertices of triangle are P(5,2),Q(7,2) and R(7,5).

PQ= 2 units, QR= 3 units

Area of right triangle PQR= \frac{1}{2}×PQ×PR

                                            =\frac{1}{2}×2×3= 3 square yards

Total material needed to cover bot rectangular pool and triangular hot tub= Area of rectangle + Area of right triangle=26+3=29 square yards

For a sale, a store decreases its prices on all items by 25%. An item that costs $120 before the sale now costs $120 - 0,25($120
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Cost = \$120 * 1 - \$120 * 0.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Cost = \$120 - 0.25(\$120)

Required

Solve using distributive property

Cost = \$120 - 0.25(\$120)

\$120 can be rewritten as 1(\$120)

So:

Cost = 1(\$120) - 0.25(\$120)

Factorize:

Cost = \$120(1 - 0.25)

Now, we can apply distributive property on the expression;

Cost = \$120 * 1 - \$120 * 0.25

Hence, the above is an equivalent expression.

Solving further, we have

Cost = \$120 - \$30

Cost = \$90

Dibuja un segmento de 6cm y su mediatriz construye un triángulo con dos de sus vértices en los extremos del segmento y el tercer
yuradex [85]
