The moon's synchronous orbit around earth is the direct result of the gravitational relationship between the two, causing a ____
PSYCHO15rus [73]
The answer should be Tidal Lock (A), because this is when the event of the orbital position of an object (Earth) is matching the same rotation period as the other object (Moon). When these rotations are the same, the moon will always be facing the same direction as the Earth. I believe you made a typo because Tidal Rock is not even considered to be a term in science. It is not a Solar Tide (that isn't even concerned with the moon facing the Earth), magnetosphere isn't even related to the moon but its magnetic field, and a tidal "bulge" is the complete opposite and has the moon facing the completely opposite direction. What are some advantages and disadvantages of
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:Asexual Reproduction Sexual Reproduction

Advantages Time Efficient; no need to search for mate, requires less energy Variation, Unique., organism is more protected

Disadvantages No variation - if the parent has a genetic disease, offspring does too. Requires two organisms, requires more energy

Explanation:While asexual reproduction only involves one organism, sexual reproduction requires both a male and a female. Some plants and unicellular organisms reproduce asexually. Most mammals and fish use sexual reproduction. Some organisms like corals and komodo dragons can reproduce either sexually or asexually. But in the long term (over several generations), lack of sexual reproduction compromises their ability to adapt to the environment because they do not benefit from the genetic variation introduced by sexual reproduction

How does cystic fibrosis affect meiosis?

Answer:

The defective CFTR protein changes ion influx and efflux across the body's cell membranes, which ultimately changes the internal environment of these cells. This change contributes to each cell's production of proteins through transcription and translation.
