Can someone please help me with this question the instructions are to use a calculator to find the perimeter (the solid lines an

d curves) of each figure. The perimeter of each semicircle can be found by using the equation 1/2 pi d (the place where I put the words pi has the pi symbol, and d is just a variable. Also use 3.14 as pi, and the top part is cut off a little bit, but it still counts as a full semi circle. Please help me.

Answer:

The answer is 113.04(inch)

Step-by-step explanation:

2r=24(inch)

r=12(inch)

A circle perimeter 2r*pi .

A  semicircle perimeter is (2r*pi)/2= r*pi.

3 semicircle perimeter are 3*r*pi = 3*12*3.14=113.04(inch)

Give the property that justifies each step.
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

Please check the explanation below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Some of the properties are defined as:

  • Distributive property

a(b+c) = ab+ac

For example,

suppose a=3, b=4, c=5

3(4+5) = 3(4) + 3(5)

3(9) = 12+15

27 = 27

  • Subtraction property of Equality

if (a=b), then a-c = b-c

For example,

suppose a=2, b=2, c=5

if a = b ⇒ 2 = 2

then a-c = b-c ⇒ 2-5 = 2- 5 ⇒ -3 = -3

  • Addition property of Equality

if (a=b), then a+c = b+c

For example,

suppose a=2, b=2, c=5

if a = b ⇒ 2 = 2

then a+c = b+c ⇒ 2+3 = 2+3  ⇒ 5 = 5

  • Multiplicative property of Equality

if (a=b), then a×c = b×c

For example,

suppose a=2, b=2, c=5

if a = b ⇒ 2 = 2

then a×c = b×c ⇒ 2×5 = 2 × 5  ⇒ 10 = 10

  • Division property of Equality

if (a=b), then a÷c = b÷c

For example,

suppose a=2, b=2, c=5

if a = b ⇒ 2 = 2

then a÷c = b÷c ⇒ 2÷5 = 2 ÷ 3  ⇒ 2/5 = 2/5

Let us solve the given equation using the above properties.

7n-16=47                     Given

7n-16+16=47+16   1) Addtion property of Equality ∵ if (a=b), then a+c = b+c

7n=63                  2) simplify

n = 9                    3) Division property of Equality ∵ if (a=b), then a÷c = b÷c

Can someone answer this please?
SOVA2 [1]
We can break this complicated looking shape into two more familiar ones, an icosoles triangle and a rectangle. Using the area of a triangle formula (base*height)/ 2, we get (3*6)/2=18/2= 9. Next, we multiply 8 by 16 to solve for the rectangle and get 128. We add 9 and 128 to get 137.

Your answer is 137.

sergeinik [125]

Answer:

m<4 = 117 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Knowing that angle 1 is 63 degrees, we can look at the other angle on the same side of the line, angle 4.

Angles on one side of a line add to 180 degrees.

180 - 63 = 117

Each side of a square is x meters long. Each side of the square is increased by 10%.
postnew [5]
Increase by 10% is time 1.10

so

area=side^2
sidenew=1.1x
so

(1.1x)^2=44 is equation

Look at the image of the two hangers. Based on the image, what is one thing that must be true? What is one thing that could be t
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

One thing that must be true is that the objects will cause some leaning because their masses are unequal, judging from the volume that the objects can hold. One thing that could be true is that the triangle could be heavier than the square, leading to a leaning toward the left. The second pic cannot be true, for there are too much mass concentrated on one side to maintain equilibrium.
