It is good to keep in mind that communication is a two-way process wherein the goal is to reach a common understanding. We should not overpower a conversation such that the other party cannot contribute anymore because that is no longer effective communication. Non-verbal communication is often more important than verbal communication, and it tells so much more. We should show or portray what we want rather than simply just saying it because words are nothing unless you give them meaning.
