Mathematics

First of all...YOU'RE NOT DUMB!!! You just need some help! Being confident in your knowledge/skills is half the work! ;D

And second...

PART 1:

28. Polygon ABCDE is a pentagon (it has five sides). The sum of the interior angle measures for a pentagon is 540°. Here's what we know:

m<A = 90°

m<B = 90°

m<D = 90°

m<C = m<E

First, find the sum of the measures of angles A, B, and D.

(90)(3) = 270°.

Next, find the combined angle measure of angles C and E.

540 - 270 = 270°.

Finally, find the measure of angle E (or m<AED).

270 / 2 = 135°.

So, to fill in the blanks:

90 · 3 + x · 2 = 540

m<AED = 135°.

29.

(a) 360°

(b) hexagon

(c) 1080

(d) hendecagon (11 sides)

I have attached a table containing a list of polygons, their side-count, and the sum of their interior angles.

PART 2:

Complimentary angles are angles whose measures add to equal 90°.

Supplementary angles are angles whose measures add to equal 180°.

30. 35° + 55° = 90°; Complimentary.

31. 62° + 108° = 170°; Neither.

Hope this helps!

Anika [276]
I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is option C. The algebraic property demonstrated above would be the associative property of multiplication. It is stated in this property that you can add or multiply regardless of how you group the numbers.<span />

Quadratic equation by factoring
Oliga [24]
I’d use the app Socratic, the apps always factors the quadratic formula and it gives you the steps on how it done.
1. X^2+7x+12=0
Identify a,b, and c. Which x^2 is a, 7 is b and c is 12.
Find two numbers that multiply together to equal c which is 12 which is 3•4
And add two numbers that equal to b which is 7 which is 3+4
= (x+3)(x+4)=0
Set each factor to zero
X+3=0
= -3
X+4=0
=-4

rectangular kitchen has an area of 81 square feet. the kitchen is 9 times as many square feet as the pantry.. If the rectangular
Kisachek [45]
To find the area of the pantry you divide 81 by 9 because the kitchen is 9 times the area of the pantry.
81/9 = 9
Therefore the pantry is 9 square feet.
The area of a rectangle is LxW. you have an area of 9 and a width of 3 so
9 = Lx3
9/3 = L
3=length

Answer:

Figure show demonstration of \frac{1}{6} and  \frac{1}{30}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let chosen fraction be \frac{1}{6}

Now we multiply fraction with \frac{1}{5}

Result will be

= \frac{1}{6}\times\frac{1}{5}

= \frac{1}{30}
