Answer:

With an idealized view of what life was like in the Mid-West, and the realization that the growing number of homeless children in the city would one day result in a serious crime problem, Brace began his “placing out” program in 1854 with a group of forty-six boys traveling by train to Michigan with an agent.

What was the greatest cause of tension between the United States and the Soviet Union after World War II? different forms of gov
Mumz [18]
I believe that most of the tension was focused on the threat of nuclear war. One of the main focuses of the Cold War was to amass more nuclear weapons than the other side. This created more pressure than both sides could handle, and it created tons of scenarios where, if not treated differently, could have caused global thermo-nuclear war that could destroy Earth. Both sides wanted to prevent that from happening.

name the forum where the president and other executive branch members consider national security and foreign affairs issues
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

The forum where the President and other executive branch members consider national security and foreign affairs issues is the National Security Council.

Explanation:

The National Security Council is a body of the federal government of the United States that advises on external security. The council is chaired by the President, and plays a vital role in the elaboration and implementation of American foreign policy. The council is often associated with serious influence and with its usual meeting place, the Situation Room in the basement of the White House, which has been replicated in many Hollywood productions as a prototype of a modern boardroom.
