Neurones are nerve cells that carry information as tiny electrical signals. They are three types of neurones; Sensory neurones that carry signals from the receptors to the central nervous system, Motor neurone that carry information from the CNS to the effector cells and the relay neurones that carry information from one part of the CNS to another.
