A region could be considerd to have 'dry climate' not because of the hot temperature alone. But also need:
- To have low humidity
- To have low precipitation (Low rainfall ratio)
- Wide Temperature swings between day and night
- High evaporation rates

From the examples above, Sahara Desert is the only one that fulfill all requirements

The answer would be number 4 because the desert is a dry climate because there is no water. Beaches are moist, mainly because of the water. There is streams in the mountains of colorado, the plains of kansas is irrigated.
