Answer:

=\frac{1}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

-\frac{12}{16}+\frac{11}{12}

the lcm of 16 and 12 is 48

-\frac{12}{16} =-\frac{36}{48}

\frac{11}{12} =\frac{44}{48}

-\frac{36}{48} +\frac{44}{48}=\frac{8}{48}

=\frac{1}{6}

Hope this helps

Answer:

\frac{1}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

-\frac{12}{16} + \frac{11}{12}

take lcm of the denominator

lcm=48

\frac{-12*3 + 11*4}{48}

\frac{-36 + 44}{48}

\frac{8}{48}

\frac{1}{6}

Find the selling price. Explain how you solved the question. I might mark you as brainliest!
polet [3.4K]

Wow !  Now THERE's an incentive !  I'm just glad I got in
early enough so that there's an answer block left open.

If you should happen to glance at these three problems,
you'll notice that they're all the same problem, just with
different numbers.  So if somebody showed you how to do
ONE of them, you'd know how to do ALL of them.

1).  Markup = 10% of $50 = 0.1 x $50 = $5
       Selling price = ($50 + $5)  =  $55 .

2).  Markup = 60% of $80 = 0.6 x $80 = $48
      Selling price = ($80 + $48)  =  $128 .

3).  Markup = 25% of $140 = 0.25 x $140 = $35
      Selling price = ($140 + $35)  =  $175 .

Which expression represents the word phrase 6 decreased by one-third of a number? a. 6+13−x b. 6+13+x c. 13⋅x−6 d. 6−13⋅x
KiRa [710]
The answer is D but it is written
6 -  \frac{1}{3} x
The word decreased means to subtract but as the expression states 1/3 of a number, 6 is subtracted by 1/3 times whatever number X represents.

X+5y=-5 slope and y-intercept
poizon [28]
First, you'd need to transform the equation into y = mx + b

To do this, set up the original equation and solve for y.

x + 5 y = -5
Subtract x from both sides.
5y = -5 - x
Now, divide by 5 into both sides to leave y on one side.
y = -1 -x/5

With this new equation, just shift the numbers on the right of y to create a y = mx + b equation

y = -x/5 - 1

Therefore, you're y intercept is -1 and you're slope is -x/5.

Hope this helps!
