kipiarov [429]

Answer:

. The boy comprehends that, despite his best efforts, he cannot escape time, and he too will become a part of history.

Explanation:

The boy dislikes the idea that the whole family has been keeping their mementos in the chest. He does not want to feel engaged into looking into the contents. "f...contents of the chest never came quite clear,.....because he didn't want to know."; "....but he hadn't wanted to listen. A thing so old disgusted him...", these words reflect the boy's feelings towards the passage of time , but these seem to be senseless when he gets shocked on coming across his own drawings. He drew them when he was five.

PLS HELPPP!!!!
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

Disturb

Explanation:

Given:

In fact, our bodies have a hard time recovering from medicines like antibiotics because they disrupt the balance of helpful bacteria.

Both disturb and disrupt have the same prefix, "dis". A negative prefix is dis-. It means "nothing" or "nothing at all." When we add dis- to the beginning of a word, it takes on a completely different meaning.

Also, the definition of "disrupt" is, "interrupt (an event, activity, or process) by causing a disturbance or problem" The definition of "disturb" is, interfere with the normal arrangement or functioning of". As we can see, they are practically the same definition, just reworded.

Hope this helps and if it does, don't be afraid to give my answer a "Thanks" and maybe a Brainliest if it's correct?
