Terracotta warriors were manufactured to symbolise nobility, loyalty and power, therefore making those who painted and sculpted a vital aspect in the making of visual literature. In essence, artists and sculptors rose to popularity in Ancient times as it was a new form of discovery, learning and interpretation of meaning.
