Hello can you please help me posted picture of question
Lynna [10]
Total number of people = 10

Number of women = 6

Probability of selecting 1st women = 6/10
Probability of selecting 2nd women = 5/9
Probability of selecting 3rd women = 4/8

Probability that are 3 selected candidates are women = 6/10 x 5/9 x 4/8 = 1/6

So, the correct answer is option A

Hi guys, I am really stuck on this question can somebody please tell the answer??? asap!
Sergio [31]

Draw a line from point Q to point A. Then draw another line segment from point Q to point A'. These lines are marked in red in the attached image (figure 1). Notice we have a 90 degree angle form. To go from A to A', we rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise (green angle in figure 2). Or we can rotate 270 degrees clockwise (gray angle in figure 2).

So that's why the two answers are:

choice B) 90 degrees counterclockwise

choice D) 270 degress clockwise

Side Note: the other points (B, C, and D) will follow a similar rotation path compared to point A. Either rotate those preimage points 90 degrees counterclockwise or 270 degrees clockwise so they match with their respective image points. All rotations are done around point Q.

How do you find the squared foot of an octagon?
Westkost [7]

Answer:

The four pieces cut off can be arranged into two squares with sides of length b feet and hence the area of the octagon is w 2 - 2 b 2 square feet. Since w = 12 feet, all that is needed is to find b. square feet which is approximately 119 square feet.

PLEASE HELP 3x – 7 ≥ 4x + 2
sleet_krkn [62]

Hi there!

\large\boxed{x \leq -9}

3x - 7 ≥ 4x + 2

Subtract 3x from both sides:

3x - 3x - 7 ≥ 4x - 3x + 2

-7 ≥ x + 2

Subtract 2 from both sides:

-7 - 2 ≥ x + 2 - 2

-9 ≥ x

x ≤ -9
