Replication of DNA is one of the first steps before cell division can occur.

Think about it like this: If the DNA is what gives you your "code" for all of your genes & traits, then a cell would not be able to survive without that DNA.

Step2247 [10]

A. Photosynthesis and cellular respiration

B. Cellular respiration and decay

C. Decay and fossil fuel formation

Explanation:

Photosynthesis, cellular respiration, decay and fossil fuel formation are all processes that are part of the carbon cycle.

In the carbon cycle, carbon in different forms moves in the environment.

  • During photosynthesis, green plants use carbon dioxide gas to manufacture their own food.
  • Cellular respiration release carbon dioxide as waste product into the atmosphere.
  • When plants and animals dies and decay, carbon dioxide is release from their tissues by the activities of decomposers.
  • Fossil fuel formation removes carbon by accumulation of the organic matter of plants and animals.
