Answer:

Vitamin D can be deficient if you live in a colder climate where the sun isn't around often during the winter. Im not sure what climate you are from but the best way to get vitamin D to absorb is to get some sun in your eyes. the white part of you eye absorb the vitamin within 4  mins.

RN and from experience you only need 1000IUs 2xdaily.  Im not a Dr. but I;ve worked with plenty and although you are doing the right thing by eating well and taking vitamins but vitamins are also considered a medicine and be sure to let you dr. know if you are on anything that could contradict taking the vit
