Let the exterior angle be y.
We know that the exterior angle is the sum of opposite two interior angles.
Therefore, y = 3x + 90 --- (1)
Also, y and 5x - 6 are linear pair.
Therefore, y + (5x - 6) = 180
Substituting y = 3x + 90 from (1), we get,
(3x + 90) + (5x - 6) = 180
8x + 84 = 180
8x = 180 - 84 = 96
x = 12 degrees
Hence, exterior angle y = 3(12) + 90 = 126 degrees.

What linear function rule describes the graph?
S_A_V [24]
Straight line equation has a general form of y=mx+c
Where m is the slope m= \frac{ y_{2}- y_{1} }{x_{2}- x_{1}}
and c is the y intercepted part.
So now, you need to find the value of the slope (m) and the y intercept (c).
As you can notice the line intercepts with y axis in (0,1) So c=1.
And then you want to find 2 points along that line  to found the slope from, we found on already (0,1) and the  other one can be any point along the line, let's take (2,3).
Then use them to find the slope.
slope(m)= \frac{ y_{2}- y_{1} }{x_{2}- x_{1}} = \frac{3-1}{2- 0}} = \frac{2}{2} =1
So now m=1 and c=1.
The equation of this line is y=x+1

Hope this helps!

A circle has a radius of square root 98 units and is centered at (5.9, 6.7). Write the equation of this circle. Please help!
weqwewe [10]

<u>Given</u>:

Given that the radius of the circle is √98 units.

The circle is centered at the point (5.9, 6.7)

We need to determine the equation of the circle.

<u>Equation of the circle:</u>

The general form of the equation of the circle is given by

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

where (h,k) is the center and r is the radius of the circle.

Substituting the center point (h,k) = (5.9, 6.7) and r = √98, we get;

(x-5.9)^2+(y-6.7)^2=(\sqrt{98})^2

Simplifying, we get;

(x-5.9)^2+(y-6.7)^2=98

Thus, the equation of the circle is (x-5.9)^2+(y-6.7)^2=98
