Given that the length should be 3ft longer than twice the width, the equation that will be used to get the width will be as follows;
let the width be w;
the length will be:
(2w+3)
hence the area will be:
w(2w+3)=90
2w^2+3w-90=0
thus the above equation can be used to find the value of w
