What were the central principles animating american government in the years 1800 to 1812?
Butoxors [25]
By 1800, America was set out to prove that it was self-sustaining independent government that had its place in the world. This includes expanding the nation, which was facing skirmishes by Native American tribes on the frontier, as well as solving foreign diplomatic issues through peace or war with the British who were taking American sailors and ships hostage. The election of 1800 between Aaron Burr and Thomas Jefferson saw the federalist-minded Burr lose to Jefferson who ran on the Republican-Democrat ticket. This election marked the end of federalism and the introduction to Jeffersonian, a movement which was anti aristocratic. <span />

01. How did railroads most affect the economic growth of the United States?
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

At the rise of the Industrial Age, or the Gilded Age, railroads became the industrial epicenter. With the completion of the transcontinental railroad, the movement of supplies and goods became easier, faster, and much more efficient. However, large railroad corporations began to monopolize the market and buy out small businesses before they could take a toll on their service. The economic growth of the United States is due, a considerable amount, to the railroads. The railroads most affected the growth of the economy through the transportation of goods. It became easier for businesses to manufacture or produce goods, transport them, and sell them to make more profit.

How did the American Expansion effect Native Americans?
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

It impacted them negatively.

Explanation:

Hi there,

When the white settlers started to head westward, they encountered the Native American territories. These territories were traditional hunting grounds and sacred places for the native population.  Despite the significance of these lands to the native people, the Americans wanted to claim the lands for themselves under the idea of 'Manifest Destiny'.

The Native Americans were forced to leave their lands to relocation camps and were denied certain rights by the Americans. In some cases, battles were fought as a result of America's westward expansion. Regardless of their efforts, the natives lost their independence and a part of their culture as a result of the lost land. Ultimately, the Native Americans were negatively impacted by the expansion since they lost their identity, land, and way of life.

Hope this gives you an idea of the effects of America's westward expansion. Feel free to ask me questions. Cheers.
