I think the dividend is 96 and 4 is the divisor, making 24 the quotient (answer). 4 goes into 9 twice, so write a 2 on top. then multiply 4 and 2 to get 8 and subtract it from 9 to get 1. bring down the 6 so now it’s 4/16, which is 4.
