1. Autonomy

Another day mr pirzada came to dine

Owning a big mansion everybody knows

My rose placed upon his grave

You will only find it if your brave

Oath he made to let the place shine

Main reason we all love him

Imagine us playing in the sand

Today is when we stand to his command

Under his arm its tattooed

Tomorrow a beautiful day

Enough for a time to play

Which word best describes the tone from the following excerpt from the pardoners talke?
Misha Larkins [42]

The best word that describes the tone from the following excerpt from the Pardoner's Tale is foreboding.

In literary contexts, tone often refers to the mood that an author conveys through word choice and the feelings that the book may elicit in the reader. Any number of feelings and viewpoints can be evoked by the tone an author adopts in a piece of writing.

The word foreboding means feeling of apprehension. The above mentioned excerpt uses the word "wary" which means exhibiting or experiencing caution over potential risks or issues.

The word wary can be used to know the tone of the excerpt from Pardoner's Tale which is foreboding means the character has a feeling that something bad is gonna happen.

The missing excerpt of the question is:

If you should meet him; you had best be wary./ be on your guard with such an adversary,/ be primed to meet him everywhere you go,/ that's what my mother said. It's all I know.

astraxan [27]

Hello. You forgot to enter the answer options. The response options are:

Aftershocks are sometimes more destructive than the original earthquake.

Most authorities do not believe the reports of multiple aftershocks in Jacksonville.

Strong earthquakes can cause aftershocks that may continue to happen for years.

The bigger the earthquake, the more likely there will be multiple aftershocks

Answer:

The bigger the earthquake, the more likely there will be multiple aftershocks

Explanation:

The text shown above reports the incidence of aftershocks after the florida was hit by a very strong earthquake. In fact, it is scientifically proven that secondary tremors are common to be felt after strong earthquakes and the text above, where florida residents affirm the incidence of these tremors, only reinforces this idea, in addition to being an evidence of this phenomenon.

read the excerpt from the gift of the magi, only $1.87 to buy a present for jim, what inferences about della can be made based o
sleet_krkn [62]

NOT bcd inferences about Della can be made based on this excerpt.

An inference is a step of thought that moves from a premise to a logical outcome. Etymologically, the word "infer" means "to inherit". Inference has traditionally been divided theoretically into deduction and induction. This distinction goes back at least in Europe to Aristotle.

Reasoning uses observations and background to reach logical conclusions. You probably practice reasoning every day. For example, if you see someone eating new food and grimacing, you infer that they don't like it. Or if someone slams the door, you can assume that the person is upset about something.
