Mike had 280 dollars to spend on 8 books.After buying them he had 16 dollars. How much did each book cost?
adell [148]
Well, you can't really determine the price of 1 book, but you can find out the average cost.

280 - 16 = 8x (x = cost of 1 book)
264 = 8x
264/8 = 8x/8
33 = x

So the average cost of one book is 33$( A little expensive if I do say so myself)
Hope this helped!

UNO [17]
Hi! I am confident that the answer is 230,000 because if country A is 10^3 times greater it would have to be 230,000,000 divided by 1,000 since 10^3=1,000. Hope this helps

What is g(3) when g(x) = 4x^2-3x+7
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

34

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x) = 4x^2 - 3x + 7

g(3) = 4(3)^2 - 3(3) + 7

g(3) = 4(9) - 9 + 7

g(3) = 36 - 9 + 7

g(3) = 27 + 7

g(3) = 34

Best of Luck!
