Solve the equation: x-10 - 2x + 7 = 8 + x - 10 - 3x
Minchanka [31]

Answer: If you're looking for the value of x, it's 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the numbers. x-10-2x+7=8+x-10-3x--->x-3-2x=8+x-10-3x

Combine like terms. x-3-2x=8+x-10-3x ---> -x-3=8+x-10-3x

Subtract the numbers.-x-3=8+x-10-3x---> -x-3=-2+x-3x

Combine like terms. -x-3=-2+-3x---> -x-3=-2-2x

Rearrange terms. -x-3=-2-2x---> -x-3=-2x-2

Hope that helps!

Some one help me!,!!,!,!!!!!
ella [17]

Answer:

See below in bold.

Step-by-step explanation:

The angle below and to the right of 30 degrees = 90-30 = 60 degrees,.

< EAC + 5x + 6x = 180

But m < EAC = the angle found in first line so its 60 degrees.

S0 3x + 5x + 60 = 180

8x = 120

x = 15

So m < CAB = 75 degrees and m < BAH = 45 degrees.

Finally the m  <  on top left = 90 degrees.

Elian and Alberto won tickets at a arcade. When they put their tickets together they had exactly 100. Alberto won 10 tickets les
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer: See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of tickets Elian won = e

Number of tickets Alberto won = A = e - 10

Therefore, Elian + Alberto ticket = 100

e + (e - 10) = 100

2e - 10 = 100

2e = 100 + 10

2e = 110.

e = 110/2

e = 55

Elina has 55 tickets

Alberto has 55-10 = 45 tickets

How am I supposed to do this?
Arisa [49]

For literal equations you do not necessarily need a numerical answer. You just need to get the variable you are supposed to solve for on one side of the equation by itself. To do this you will follow the same steps you do when you normally solve for x (or any other variable)

<u>#9-Step by step</u>

<u>Q=25</u>\pi<u>h</u>

divide 25\pi on both sides of the equation

Q/25\pi=h

h=Q/25\pi

Since his can't be simplified any further this is your answer

<u>#11.</u><u> </u><u>y=7m+6</u>

First subtract 6 over to the other side

y-6=7m

then divide the 7 over

(y-6)/7=m

m=(y-6)/7

<u>#13 A=(Z+7)3</u>

Divide the three over to the other side of the equation

A/3=Z+7

Now the 7 is free to be subtracted from both sides

<u>(</u>A/3)-7=Z

<u>#17. (2x/5)-9=6</u>

First add 9 to both sides

2x/5=6+9

2x/5=15

Multiply both sides of the equation by 5

2x=5(15)

2x=75

Divide by 2

x=75/2

x=37.5
