Miguel is a hardworking boy around the age of seventeen.he is originally from Mexico and has been living in the United States fo

r four years. He is able to understand English, however always writes in Spanish . He has seen an American flag , but couldn't tell you much about it . He asado can sing the national anthem, but doesn't understand the lyrics. Can Miguel become an American citizenship if he applies tomorrow ? No, to apply for citizenship you need to take a test that includes knowing things from the constitution and the history of the founding fathers. If Miguel wants citizenship he would have to know enough US, know a bit of how the government works, and know how to write/speak english enough to be understood.
