Miguel is a hardworking boy around the age of seventeen.he is originally from Mexico and has been living in the United States for four years. He is able to understand English, however always writes in Spanish . He has seen an American flag , but couldn't tell you much about it . He asado can sing the national anthem, but doesn't understand the lyrics. Can Miguel become an American citizenship if he applies tomorrow ? No, to apply for citizenship you need to take a test that includes knowing things from the constitution and the history of the founding fathers. If Miguel wants citizenship he would have to know enough US, know a bit of how the government works, and know how to write/speak english enough to be understood.
