The length of a rectangle is twice it’s with the perimeter of a rectangle is 126 feet.
madreJ [45]

Answer:

Length = 42 feet

Width = 21 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length and width be represented by L and W

L = 2W

Perimeter (P) = 126 feet

2(L + W) = 126

L + W = 126/2 = 63

2W + W = 63

3W = 63

W = 63/3 = 21 feet

L = 2W = 2 × 21 feet = 42 feet

Can u solve it?<br> Find x,y,v and u.
ikadub [295]

Explanation:

Basically, you can do it in many ways. But just, in my opinion, exactly linear algebra was made for such cases.

the optimal way is to do it with Cramer's rule.

First, find the determinant and then find the determinant x, y, v, u.

Afterward, simply divide the determinant of variables by the usual determinant.

eg. \frac{Dx_{} }{D} and etc.

I think that is the best way to solve it without a hustle of myriad of calculations reducing it to row echelon form and solving with Gaussian elimination.
