In an English test, right students score 14,13,17,11,19,20,14,and 15. What is the range of the first 6 even numbers greater than
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

Concept & Calculation of Range .

Step-by-step explanation:

11 , 13 , 14 , 14 , 15, 17 , 19 , 20

Even numbers greater than 11 = 14 , 14 , 20

Range = Highest Value - Lowest Value = 20 - 14 = 6

Entire data range = 20 - 11 = 9

Range of all numbers greater than 11 (ie 13 , 14 , 14 , 15, 17 , 19 , 20) =    20 - 13 = 7

How many intersections are there of the graphs of the equations below? x + 5y = 6 3x + 30y = 36 none one two infinitely many How
Aloiza [94]

You can solve this system of the equations with graphical method or algebra method.

I solve this system with Gaus algorithm

first we divide second equation with number 3 and get x+10y=12

Than subtract first equation from second and get 5y=6 => y=6/5

now we replace y in the first equation and get x+5*(6/5)=6 =>x+6=6

=> x=0           (x,y)=(0,6/5)

Conclusion is that we have one intersection point between this two graphs.

Good luck!!!

Solve the system of equations
2x+3y=1
y=3x+15
(___,___)
Allisa [31]
2x + 3y = 1
y = 3x + 15

Get the same variables on each side

3y = 1 - 2x
y = 15 + 3x

Multiply both sides of that second equation by 3 so we can subtract.

3y = 1 - 2x
3y = 45 + 9x

Subtract the equations from each other.

0 = -44 - 11x

Solve.

44 = -11x
-4 = x

Use x in an earlier equation to find y.

y = 3x + 15
y = 3 * -4 +15
y = -12 + 15
y = 3

x = -4, y = 3
