Explanation:

Living organisms are mostly made of water. Water is a molecule made from 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom, H2O. Now even though there are 2 hydrogen atoms for every oxygen atom in a living organism oxygen atoms are much heavier than hydrogen atoms. Hydrogen atoms are more than 15 times lighter than oxygen atoms and this is why they can be fewer atoms of oxygen in the body but they will still represent a lot of its weight.
