Capillaroes are the smallest blood vessels in your body(think of them as super tiny veins), you have them in places like your fingers and toes. The main function of Capillaries is to distribute oxygen and various nutrients throughout the blood stream so that it can reach the lesser tissues. They aslo act as a mini filter by removing "waste" profucts such as caebon dioxide from the bloodstream

I hope this helped

True or False...Primary care physicians are responsible for diagnosis and treatment.
Orlov [11]
It is true that primary care physicians are responsible for diagnosis and treatment. These general practitioners (GP) are the ones you go to first to get a check up, and if they deem that your problem is far more severe than they can help you, they will send you to a secondary care physician. Those types of physicians are specialists, such as cardiologists, urologists, even dentists, etc.

Which of these is a way to reduce the possibility of transmitting HIV?
asambeis [7]

Answer: C: Using your refusal skills!

Explanation: HIV is transmitted through bodily fluids and sexual contact. Using illegal drugs is not only harmful (most likely), but you are not maintaining safety measures. There is no vaccine for HIV as of now, so injecting drugs would not me a preventative measure. Engaging in sexual activity with multiple partners is one of the ways TO CONTRACT HIV, even when using protection. If you don't use universal precautions in a healthcare setting, you can contract HIV (although not as likely). So the best way to reduce your chances of HIV would be to use universal precautions, use protection, or the best way, use refusal skills.
